This may look like something that crawled out from under the stove, but it's the result of my recent purchase of an electric hair clipper.

Last time I got my hair cut in a barber shop, I found that the price of a basic clipper cut had gone up 50% (from $10 to $15), and I decided to discontinue the inconvenience and expense of this chore. I'm not particularly fussy about my haircuts, and decided that a close buzz cut would be a good idea.

While sister Mona (sounds like a nun, doesn't it?) was visiting last weekend she agreed to give it a try. After seeing the results of my haircut, Pat decided to go for it as well, and I took the clipper and did his.

This pile of hair on the floor was the result.
