Mdog's morning walk a few days ago.

Everyone here in Northern Colorado is really sick of the winter weather, and snow that refuses to melt. We are approaching a record for the number of days extensive snow has covered the ground - since early December.

Pat and I have been looking around a co-housing place here in Fort Collins, considering getting a place there as a base in the US, which would allow us to spend summers up here, and winters in Mexico.

The co-housing community has a nice chicken house and community garden, things that would be tough to have in a conventional home and leave for months at a time. All the common areas and exterior maintenance are maintained, covered by modest monthly fees.

We're going to have dinner with some of the residents in a week or so during one of their communal dinner nights in the common house to talk to to some other residents.
