I don't usually use this space to comment on politics, partly to avoid the use of harsh speech - my natural reaction to much of what I see passing for public policy in the country.

But...maybe you have heard about the unfortunate circumstances surrounding a certain Idaho U.S. Senator following his visit to an airport restroom a few months ago.

I won't make a statement here about witnessing the painful irony and unhappy spectacle of someone falling victim to the intolerance, ridicule, and persecution they spent significant portions of their career perpetuating and reinforcing to the detriment of others, but will leave you with this little item...
